The first or second sound???
In any case, this would be a very simple sound to recreate, and Im a retard when it comes to programming synths
Good luck!

They're both the same sound, just played at different octaves.
I managed to emulate a similar sound in a Korg Moss board soundset recently... Think I used a two sine-waves at different octaves, and using fast envelopes/adsr. Then overdriven/distorted, with tempo delay and heavy compression/limiting.

Sounds like noise generator + self oscillating filter.

Ahhh yes, silly me. The second sound was distorting (bloody Quicktime!) and sounded different to the first.

no noise, overdrive or distortion. its just the crappy mp3 encoding i think.
*its just pure sine waves going thru a lowpass and then thru a shitload of delay. cant get any simpler then that cant it?

This patch is easy to create. Actually, I think there's a very similiar sounding patch already in the Virus B.
I've made this sound in various synths, VST and the Virus.
It's basically quite a high pitched sine wav with quite low cutoff and a little resonance. There should be no attack, sustain or release. Decay should be set close to max on both amp and filt envelopes.

I agree with the last couple of posts.
Simple sine wave with fast attack, some delay and lousy mp3 encoding quality.
Defanetly.
