Jase gets a JOB
Yes thats right folks....the coffee making student bum finally lands a real job!!!!
I have to quit (defer) from Sydney Uni (like, ummm, so bummed! Pffft...) But on the upside, I get to travel the world, as the sound recordist for documentaries and TV programs.
How cool is that? Way cool....
It is not yet 100% official, I go in soon to sign contracts etc. Will reveal more about the company soon (it's a biggie!) and also more details of the job.
Hint: anyone like busting myths?

Who you working for? You going to be doing any editing, too? What gear you gonna be using and most importantly, what we all wanna know is WHAT'S THE PAY?

Cheers Matsa!
Finland? There's always the possibility...
They do alot of travel style shows and Discovery Channel type stuff too, so it can take me all around the world. At the start though (whilst in training) I will only be doing locations within Australia. Maybe a few months before they send me on bigger jobs O/S
There will definately be editing work when I am not on location...
Pay? Well, I will be starting out as a junior, so it is a junior salary at first (Read: Shit)
I will reveal the company once everything is set in stone, hopefully only a couple days away.

Great news Jase and if you get to work with Steve Irwin, You gotta get me his autograph!
He's bloody cool indeed. He's even more passionate about animals than we care about synths.

That's great news for sure Jase!
If you ever head over to Japan let me know and I'll happily shirk the family to meet up.

Nice one mate.
Sounds like the shit pay will be well worth it for the opportunities. I'd take shit pay and a great job over great pay and a shit job anyday of the week.
