In that case they usually go to an random electronic music oriented forum and eventually end up buying a mixer, monitors, some processors and a Virus to start making music - You make electronic music by a press of a button, you know. Then they sell the gear after two weeks of crappy attempts at trance. Then they probably start some other gear-hobby, like golf, woodcrafting or photographing and swap again after two weeks.

I've seen better decorating with much less money spent.
My friend Jeff is amazing he will go to thrift shops, estate sales, and look for stuff in the classifieds and buy it.
Then he will get the upholstery replaced on a pieces that need it and steam clean the rest.
I think he even has wood re-stained/lacquered also.
Then a few new rugs, lamps, and a piece or two of wall art and VOILA!
A mega-pimp, retro, cool as all get out pad is born.
This lady's place looks boring as hell to me.
She probably wears a white alien robe in the morning and silver spandex at night.

Looks kinda like someone bought a load of stuff out of the childrens section of Ikea.
I like it, though. It's quite effective, especially seeing as it's a smallish house and it maximises the living space.
Possibly a bit too surgical/cold and plastic for me, though!
