My first track that is close to being finished is now uploaded. I only need to make a few changes and the mix & master. The soundquality is only 96kbps due to being on myspace.

I would love to get some comments from the users of the unofficial virus forum before i finalize the track!

I really hate the high pitched kick drum...way too overbearing, and it is too loud. Maybe mix another subbier, bassier, punchier kick underneath it to give it some balls.

Other than that, the song has a nice, dark and evil feel, aggressive sometimes, insane, but that kick drum really fucks it up

Im glad you like my track (besides the kick)! The kick is going to be changed during the next week, and then i will upload the final track.

You are absolutely right. The kick is much to loud and needs a solid bass added to it. I was trying to get a really punchy and somewhat hipitched kick out of it. But i have been having a hard time figuring out how to make a good sounding kick (and bassline) that also satisfies myself. And i am still not satisfied!

Too much compression applied and to much EQ?ing...
