Default Possible to play multiple patches at once?

Im wondering if its possible to play multiple patches through the virus simultaneously. I noticed the "demo song" does this, is it possible to do from a sequencer? Or is the demo song simply a recording?

yes it is possible and pretty simple to do, you should be able to find tutorials on line or if you need it tell us what model and sequencer you have and you'll get pointed in correct direction. Also you should have a multi mode this can layer sounds and play them on seperate track.

not a pro tools user, but useing cubase you simply open up the virus control vst when using the usb cable and you'll have everything you need. Seriously think you have missed something if you have paid this much for a synth that is advertised as total integration. (Not slagging I bought loads that could only play one track lol)

The best thing to do is open up the vst and work from there, or the other option is to press the single and multi button at the same time this is seq mode, this gives you 16 midi channels. Using a midi interface you can now have 16 parts (voices) on different midi channels. Simply select which midi channel you want in sequencer, (not sure if you need to but you can change which patch is displayed on synth using part button) then select a patch you want to play, you can use standad program changes etc from here on in.

Really I'd look at the VST control but not sure how pro tools can handle this. But like I say cubase is fine

Cheers
Kris

on my TI desktop I can use muyltiple patches on single mode as well. Dont know if its an issue of my unit or a bug.
Access havnt replayed to my email tough.
If you want to reproduce try to press shift and search for few seconds(auditon) while having arp hanged then change an osc mode to any
In my case I cant change the sound of the patch but if I change a patch by pressing program buttons, old one remains and I can play new one. What is more they interact between eachother in strange way.
but that wasn't answer to your question was it? sorry for a hijack
Anyway if someone can try it please it would be really helpfull as I dont know if there is something wrong with my device. I'm using 1.2.4 firmware.
cheers

R.
