Default Hi, n00b to the forum

Gidday, I want a Virus.

I've been playing with keyboards since 1990 - Prophecy, Z1, Wavestation, JP-8000, Triton Extreme, Fantom, V-Synth yadda yadda yadda... I'm not afraid to waste my hard earned cash but I still haven't gotten the trance sounds I want and the Virus has got IT. (Shouldna sold the JP-8000)

I love Progressive Trance and Psy Trance. I think the TI desktop is the one for me, but the Classic is closer to my spending comfort level...

Hoping to come to a buying decision soon, and find out what others are doing with their Virus along the way...

Cheers,
B

Welcome to the forum!

Think I have seen your name over at the V-tribe right?

Yep, that's me! We were just talking about an OS update for the V-Synth earlier

As I said there, if the V-Synth had better filters I'd be very happy. Only Vanguard, Albino and some demoes of a Virus have been the sound I really am looking for.

Thanks for saying hi!

Thought it may be the same guy!

Yeah I hope the rumor about the V-Synth OS is true. New filters would be damn nice, although I have found a few methods to get a nicer filter sound out of it, but often it takes using both Cosm sections controlled at the same time. Also the Isolator/Filter thing in the MFX section can be used to create more aggressive filter sounds.

At any rate welcome to the board LP.
