The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

Hot damn! It's like the human MPC!

That woman is truly remarkable and only 5 months older than myself.

Sometimes seeing performances like that make you either extremely inspired or deeply depressed.

I can't really decide how I feel.

WHOA! She's freaking amazing!

How uncanny Jago, I watched your you Tube videos and a few others on the Nord Lead 2 and Nord Lead 3 yesterday.

I'm actually going to seek a G.A.S. opinion from you, oh master of all synths.

Used Nord Lead 3 series (rack) on eBAY are selling for around $900-$1,000 dollars.

I have a Virus KC, a JV 1080, and a Motif ES Rack. I'm freaking having a Nord Lead 3 craving Bro. What should I do about it?

I realize many purport DiscoDSP Discovery (VST soft synth) to be a software equivalent of a Nord Lead 2, and that's a hell of a lot cheaper than a grand.\

BUT DiscoDSP does not have those bad ass self adjusting pots with blued LEDs AND it is not in a red metal chassis.

what are the relative advantages of tyhe Nord Lead 3 over the Nord Lead 2, if I were to be scoping these out on eBAY???

Thanks you for any advice you can offer.

Cheers!

-Alex
