Default Gear Lust Part 974...

OK, I want a subwoofer damn it. I have a small one in my car, and there are alot of tracks that I simply don't want to listen to without it. In the lab it's difficult to guess the effect of adding sub bass to a track without checking it out on a system equipped as such. So, I just got an e-mail from M-Audio that included a link to their $499, 10 inch, 240 watt subwoofer with a "sustain pedal" that allows you to bypass it on the fly to check a track with/without it. Here's the link:

M-Audio BX10S:

Does anyone here mix with a sub in addition to their nearfields? If so, do you have any experience with the one above or would you recommend looking into a different make/model?

Cheers!

-Alex
