Default help needed!!

hello i have bought the virus ti snow ,in the manual it says not to use a usb hub see im fairly stupid,i have poseidon {soft synth}can i stick the poseidon dongle and the virus together on the front of my pc usb slots

You can use as many USB peripherals/dongles as you have USB native ports, to avoid sharing the same port.

If you have 2 master USB ports, you can use 2 USB items natively. If you have 8, you can use 8.

If you use a hub on a USB port, all the USB sockets for that hub will share the single 'master' USB port, so it's not ideal because they're each sharing bandwidth and interrupts between each other on that one port.

Therefore put the Snow on its own, master USB port (directly into your computer), not a shared one, so it has full unthwarted control.
