Chaotic Oscillator
I don't own an Access *yet*, but probably will soon. I had a Kurzweil that I programmed a chaotic oscillator on. It suffered from the fact that it digitally repeated itself (no delay in the programming). I'm curious if such a sound could be made on an Access, with better control.
Essentially one can use a ring modulator, and the signal is routed in both inputs, one being inverted. The output is then amplified from 3 to 4x (this is the range of chaotic oscillation), and routed to a S&H or delay, and the output of this routed back as the input to the ring modulator. The output (good as a controller) can be taken from either the out of the amplified 3-4x or the output of the S&H or delay. The delay will control the oscillation rate. It should work without the delay, but the rate of oscillation will run at the speed of the unit.
Anyone out there interested in giving it a try or is this even possible on a Virus?
