Default Snow soft crackling noises + audio file!

Hi

I noticed my virus snow is having some very quiet crackling noise bursts now and then. It only happens when playing patches, not when I don't trigger anything so I don't thing there's a problem with the cable. I only use the USB atm, not the analog outs. Everything else works perfectly. This is pretty annoying as it also gets recorded.

I work with Live 8, buffer size 128 (but doesn't make a difference when I change this) and I followed the TI setup guide.

Any ideas how to solve this?

Thanks

Your patch has too much going on and is overloading the synth. Try scaling back things like reverb, unison, delay times, etc etc to see if you can bring it back from 5 bars, or enough to get rid of the crackle.

Thx for the reply but that's definitely not the problem.
Here's another audio sample. First a patch I made, then just a clean sine (no filter saturation, no distortion, no analogue boost, no fx just 1 sine oscillator):

How is this possible? Please help I don't know what to do.

The problem doesn't seem to happen in standalone mode (no USB just midi and analogue outs). I work with Live 8, buffer size 128 (or 256 sometimes) and I followed all the setup guides to make sure everything has been set up right. Snow has it's own USB port.
