A quick introduction from Alex Hall...
Hey everyone!
My name is Alex Hall.
I am a long time guitarist and DJ but new to playing keys and synths.
Recently I bought an Access Virus KC as my first hardware synthesizer as I am setting up a home-project studio and looking to create some Trance music. I guess that is a broad statement since Trance has gone in so many directions. I favor non-repetitive tunes with a noticeable melody, great vocals, and kickin' beats. I think it will be cool to be able to drop my own tracks into a DJ set while playing out one night.
I have only had my Virus for (that just sounds bad!) 1 week but am completely in awe of it and sneak off to play it whenever I can.
I am eager to learn how to program the synth and aspire to get good enough at this to where I can hear a synth riff/melody in my head (like I do all day long!) and forge it into real sound with my Virus KC.
I'll see you in the forums!
Ciao!

Thank you all!
Thank you for the warm welcome Hollow-Cell, Jasedee, Tranzash and Orestis!
I am really stoked to have found this site.
I promise to read the manual and search the forum before making stupid posts.
If you need to bust my newB chops occasionally that's cool.
I'm the one getting hooked up for now, I just hope to get up to speed soon so I can help you guys out with the next generation.
Peace!
