Default oh no, maybe electromagnetic radiation - hope not

well ,
a few days ago i bought an LG Flatron L1750SQ 17" computer monitor screen. an LCD screen!!!!!!!!!!!!! (8ms refresh screen-sounds like its good)

the reason for this is that on the table that i work on which is
1.5 meters wide and about 70 cm deep,

will have 2 tabletop synthesizers on them

My JP-8080 WILL BE ON MY RIGHT, and the future spunky ACCESS VIRUS TI will be on my left.

Therefore the synths will be fairly close to the computer screen.

I threw away my old CRT screen so as to not run into trouble with any sort of elecromagnetic radiation creeping into the synths cables.

apparently LCD screens are pretty good at not throwing around electromagnetic radiation.

Is that the case???????????
I DONT HAVE MUCH ROOM IN MY TINY studio room, so i really need to have these desktop synths where they are./

Should I have bought a digital LCD screen to make sure of no problems or is this analog LCD i just bought good enough, as far as electromagnetic radiation is concerned.

Are there any rules about these things.
I hope i wont stuff up the ACCESS VIRUS sound with these electromagnetic waves.

i have noticed desktop synths reasonably close to monitors in a number of home studio, so i thought well why not.

yours

Juho: I kinda expected that. You somewhat manage to be even more predictable than trance music, which is a remarkable feat

Regarding lsd, never tried that stuff...it's just funny to read "cheap lsd" when referring to a computer monitor

as well is there any specifications on how far in inches electromagnetic radiation is radiated from an analog LCD screen.

i reckon i could feel the radiation from my old CRT.

maybe why i got dizzy
apparently those CRT's can generate as far as 5 feet, i think I read, and you should keep cables away at that distance.

Maybe ANALOGUE LCD's emit about 2 to 3 incehes (fingers crossed)

i am trying to sense it but cant at the moment-should get closer to it hey.

anyway to the bright TI future

I have a "LG Flatron L1915S" 19" LCD monitor and i have never experienced any trouble even though my Virus is right in front of it. Anyway the thing about CRT monitors is that they use electromagnetic coils to "pull" electrons to where they "belong" on the screen thereby drawing the dots you can see (did that sound too technical?). This means that it produces a a magnetic field around it. Try taking a powerfull magnet and pull it across the screen of a CRT monitor or a TV an you will see that the colours will look wird because the magnetic field will be changed.
LCD monitors on the other hand uses tiny LED?s or liquid crystal and they produce none (or very little) magnetic radiation. This is also why they consume much less power than a CRT monitor.
