I haven't had the time yet to download any tracks. However Juho is really into progressive rock.

Listening to "Shiny stupid".
Well crafted track. Interesting sounds with a flowing feel. Like the guitar through-out and the build up is great!
My only gripes would be the lack of stereo pans and stereo effects - this sort of tune works well with that sort of thing and also once the snare fully comes in, the mid to upper range of the beats drowns out alot of everything else.
A nice listen for sure!
Now listening to "Chase the dust of Chronic rust" - great name.
Not bad, but needs a little bit of darkening up for me. Your ambiient skills shine through again with this one though. It's just too nice to be called "hardrock" though. Better stereo space with this one though.
All up, really good compostions that show a heap of talent.
Thanks for the listen.

Yeah bit of a shame as I have 4 new compositions, and somewhere along the line in all of them i had some subphasing effect probs with the bass, my fault during recording. I use a pair of Sennheiser 580,s, and the response is so good, it has no colouration in them, speakers do, I was in such a place where I had no monitors to really try it loud, so i had to get a graphic equaliser, and mess it around a bit. With my last compositions, my music was chosen by 3 companys "as a reference disk in frequencys".
And was sold as an Audiophile listeners disk!. Which from the humble beginnings its all took seemed mad but read this http://www.positive-feedback.com/Issue6/uda.htm and also http://www.hifi-planet.com/hpah1.htm just scroll down on the menu to spotlight and follow the next page to "Case 1". Thing is i couldnt believe what they were saying. But nevertheless im more interested in making music now than the sound quality. "From then to here" will have a link here tomorrow.
Glad you enjoyed it

Great to have more sensible people on the board. Maybe we flood the board with progressive rock threads. While doing that we could even get some of the trance people to listen to music! I tihnk that's a great opportunity.

*cowers in the corner* I like trance as well I just grew up at a time when Electro was the rage and breakdancing, but as soon as it turned into Hiphop and Dougie Fresh, Roxanne Shante it was shit!. lol. Each to their own i suppose
