Virus I/O
Im pretty sure that the Virus (XLrack) outputs are unbalanced, but are the Inputs also unbalanced?
Im wiring up some multicore and just wanted to double check....

What does the manual say about this?
i checked the access site and they say nothing about balanced or unbalanced ins\outs.

Multi-core is a cable with a number of inner conductive cores to carry seperate signals (or different polarities of a signal).
"Unbalanced" is effectively using a mono cable, ie. a single-core + screen (shield). Balanced (TRS) is twin core + screen.

Heres a relatively dumb question, but I'm not sure if it was mentioned anywhere (or possible) but the USB link is that MIDI control only on TI or can you get audio out of it too. ?

yeah....what Timo said!
Im just trying to neaten up the studio a little....and having a bunch of 8-way multi-core around the back of the rack is better than a whole bunch of cheapo multi-coloured leads.
Im getting the soldering down to a fine art...like a production line. Still takes time though, but saving heaps of money doing it myself.
