Hello from Hamburg, just trying some dark ambience sound design...

Just got my TI Desktop some days ago, ran into the usual USB problems and found this forum had the best information about the issue. So I might stay with you a bit while exploring what is inside my TI.

I run a web radio site (see sig) and used to wonder how all this stuff I play has been produced. I started fiddleing aroud with software synthesizers and at some point decided I needed a more tangible approach, something with many knobs to modify sounds while changing different parameters nearly simultaneously and much more intuitively.

I used to think there are so much dilletants around and becoming just another hobby music producer flooding the channels in which music is circulating nowadays isn't a worthy goal to achieve. But if I never try, I will never know...

I'm into this type of ambient music that aims at creating darker athmospheres whith drones and pad sounds, often lacking any kind of rythm elements. It's called Dark Ambient.

After reading the manual carevully, I still have many questions about my Virus (as the manual often only scratches the surface of all the features), but will browse the threads for a while till I start bothering you. B)
