Virus Classic

Hello guys, here is my first thread on the forum, I say hello and I have one question.
I love virus synthesizers but im a really low budget guy with too many effort finally I bought one used virus classic on ebay is nice machine sounds like clear crystal but of course im dreaming with some day own one TI, anyways I never played a virus TI even never seen one and I want to know if some day I can buy a virus TI the virus classic become obsolete for own both?, I dont know but the virus TI include all the features of the classic?

Hi Wax', welcome.

The TI has all the features of the Classic and is in fact compatible with all previous Viruses (including being able to load/use their patches).

Thank you for you reply Timo, I heard some rumors about Access for 2009 like a new synthesizer called TI mk2? it is true?

No, it's purely third-party guessing/speculation.

Access themselves do not leak info, and there has been no official word or anything remotely resembling their future plans, unfortunately.

But the Winter NAMM Show is generally when they make their big yearly public announcements, so in some cases it may make sense to hold off and see what they plan to do if it's close to that date.

However, even if a new Virus range is announced/released, the TI and Snow will not be discontinued any time soon. I doubt they would halt production of the Snow, at least, for several years.
