Your top ten songs.....
Has anyone ever thought about this?
It's a tuff one, but I have been trying to compile mine for some time.....Yes, I am very bored.
Here is what I have so far....in no particular order (yet), and not quite finished
* Lou Reed - Perfect Day
* Jeff Buckley - Lover, you should've come over
* Simon & Garfunkel - America
* Mazzy Star - Fade into you
* Tori Amos - Cornflake Girl
* Aesop Rock - Daylight
* Gomez - We havent turned around
* Any song by Radiohead (Too hard to chose just one)
* Metallica - Master of Puppets
* Hmmmm....only one more to go
Also, definately something by Radiohead, but hard to narrow it down. I will keep adding/editing to this post to come up with the final list
Anyone else wanna try? Go on, I dare ya!

Ten tracks is too few... I'll pick some extra. I'll try to put these in some sort of semi-chronologica/logicall order:
Hallucinogen - Gamma Goblins
My all time favourite psytrance track.
Pink Floyd - Set the Controls For the Heart of the Sun
The track that lured me from psytrance to Pink Floyn and from there to prog rock. I heard a remix of this track on one radio program called Avaruusromu and it got me studying more about Pink Floyd.
King Crimson - 21st Century Schizoid Man
One of the first prog rock tracks I heard. It's good so it has to be progressive.
Pleiadians - Meter
One of the last psytrance favourites.
ELP - Hoedown
Track that caught my interest towards ELP. The national radio broadcasted a programme called Progey?, which was a program that lasted from 0:00AM to 6:00AM and it was dedicated to progressive rock.
ELP - Tarkus
The prog rock track that got me realising what progressive rock means. Brilliant!
ELP - Karn Evil 9
The next big prog track after Tarkus.
Weather Report - Black Market
Got me listening to Weather Report and fusion jazz. Nice groove. Guaranteed WR.
Absoluuttinen nollapiste - Sukututkimus lannistaa
The track that started Absoluuttinen nollapiste fanaticsm.
Absoluuttinen nollapiste - Suvannossa ylpe? ilme I-V
My all time favourite track set. A one piece consisting of five tracks. The most beautiful, dramatic, sad and ironic piece of music ever created.
Jean-Pierre Kusela - Naurava kulkuri
Always make you amused. 100% guarantee to work.
YUP - Pahassa paikassa
This track got me listening to YUP. Nice.
YUP - Passiivista vastarintaa
One of the tracks that got me starting practicins singing.
Absoluuttinen nollapiste - Pyh? nynny I
This is just brilliant piece. Although I like more of the lyrical aspect on the demo version of this track (Magnesium), but still one of the top favourites.
Genesis - Dancing With the Moonlight Knight
Probably the most important prog rock song to me. It's just beautiful.
Dimmu Borgir - Mourning Palace
Black metal classic from Norway. The best track from this band. Somehow this track gradually earned it's place as a classic.
Cradle of Filth - The Forest Whispers My Name
British black metal. Same thing as with Dimmu Borgir's Mourning Palace.
King Diamond - Voodoo
I had heard this track several times years ago when my cousin bought the album Voodoo. This track came back to my mind few months ago so I dug up some King Diamond.
Stevie Wonder - Superstition
No comments needed.

It is quite hard to narrow it down to just 10.......
Good idea to give some story behind your choices too!

Alright; This is just a few of my favourite tunes -> In no particular order whatsoever
Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
Excellent track; not that any other of Jimi's songs are bad either - but this gotta be my favourite track
Uriah Heep - Lady in Black
Same with this song; excellent track - and they got a couple of tunes that are really good aswell.
Jean Micheal Jarre - Oxygene 8
I did listen to this alot when i was younger; haven't listen to it for a while acctually. but i can't become tired of it
Cosmosis - Gift of the Gods
Hoho. This was the tune i first heard when i met my girlfriend.
Pink Floyd - Shine on you crazy diamond
Wow
Pink Floyd - Wish you where here
Althou, whenever i hear this get a really strange feel. I still haven't figured it out either it's a good feeling or a bad.
Yahel - Waves of Sound
I do enjoy Yahel's 'earlier' tracks. My girlfriend did always play this album for me so it kinda stuck. but it's good
Infected Mushroom - Double Click (piano version)
When i was at a rave they played a remix of this track, which was really nice. And they also got some other tracks i like
Holymen - The last universe
I love movie-music; and i like this remix since i've got alot of good memories from it.
Fronda - Rullar Fram
Swedish hiphop; probably one of the best partying music i've heard in a long time.
