Nice DS!
Make sure you use the morph function on the mod-wheel alot when you get it. Really makes the Nord expressive and fun to program!

Its a new one from a shop. Since the Ti fiasco has been going on for some time...I hit upon a good idea: get a synth thats been released and wont be superceeded. Naturally the Nord 2X was my answer. Ive got a great sounding Lexicon effects unit.....and im quickly realising that having onboard effects on synths is a bit gimmicky.
To be honest, one of the things I was alittle concerned about on the TI....was just how many features you have available. Put it this way, in the oscilator section you have the Virus standard waveforms....saw pulse etc etc. Plus, you have the 64 digital spectral waveforms..... In addition to this, you now get the hypersaws and wavetables. Wow....with so many waveforms to choose from....if your anything like me...you might find the choice overwhelming and a bit of a headfuck. Its refreshing to come back to a simple synth architecture (Nord 2).
Rather than adding new features all the time.....id quite like to see Access refine the features the Virus already has....increase the knobbidge and reduce the menue driven features. Take the TI for example.....in the oscilator section....why doesnt it have buttons explicitly lablled with the oscilator type you currently have activated on that particular oscilator. Then at a glance you could see where you are.....but nope...its hidden in menues. Ive got to give it to Access.....the new virus will sure improve memory capacity...(in your brain!)
Hopefully......the TI MKII will incorperate all these features in a more immediate/user friendly kinda way.
Hehe.....back to my Nord....

Congratz for the purchase! And hopefully your going to be a bit luckier with this one than your previous synths
Tomer...Why there wouldnt be a TI 2 synth in a year or two?
I mean, there is still room for improvement on the concept dont you think?
