I was talking to a guy who plays in a rock type band the other day. He does recording on the side (mostly of other rock bands). At one point in the conversation he says to me "Midi is dead". This kind of took me by surprise (because I use midi almost daily) so all I did was look at him, shake my head, and tell him he was an idiot.
