Default Am I right in saying..
that patches edited and saved in Multi mode are saved seperately along with the Multi without overwriting the default memory location of the patch?

This is true for the SEQ MODE. I'm not sure of the Multi.

Yes, this is true of multi mode. In Sequencer Mode, patches are stored to their single location.
