I think the title of the thread should read "forget using arpegios...learn how to play". Midi has nothing to do with it.
I for one am glad DS likes Youtube so much - kind of like having an automatic search engine constantly running! Keep finding stuff and don't be affraid to post it DS.
Oh yeah, you do really have to get out and get yourself some mate.
