Default User trimming

Hi all,

Last week I sent a message to all the users that have registered but not authorised their accounts over the years. I explained that such accounts will be deleted from the database as part of the cleansing exercise that started after Infekted.org was brought up-to-date.

If you did not receive this email then you can ignore this post - you will not be affected. If you did receive it and are having problems authorising then let me know asap. Otherwise, as of next Monday (19th June), these users will be deleted from the database.

Thanks,

Drammy

How about culling members that havent posted here in the last 18 months /two years?

A spring clean only happens once a year so may as well do it properly..

cheers

I'll look into it.

I'll get rid of the non-confirmers first and then have a look at others - that would probably get rid of Sunesha as well though!

Actually, just decided not to delete inactive users - this could mean that some post have no owners (as they may have been deleted) and could cause allsots of problems...

I will just remove users that are not authorised

On other forums, with people who have been deleted but had previously posted on the forums, it simply shows them as being a "guest" so it doesn't delete their posts when their profile is deleted.

Sunesha's should be left well alone, though! However, does he know the new http://infekted.org URL?

Also, who's the mod Tea-mo? I can't remember seeing him (in the last three/four? years). Looking at his very last post I think Juho scared him off.
