Master BPM Sync to Cubase Project?

This might sound like a stupid question

Should my virus b automatically set its master clock bpm to that of my cubase projects?

without me going into the menu and changing it?

If so, how can i change it?

It always seems to be set at 140bpm by default

yes, you should be able to sync the virus to Cubase's tempo via midi clock.
It has been a while since I worked with this setting (and no longer have a virus c to confirm) but there is a setting on the virus to sync with your host software.

edit - just realized that I didn't fully answer your question.
I believe it was a two step process
1. adjust the setting in the virus to sync to external host
2. change setting in cubase to send sync signal

unfortunately I forget how to do all this now that I have a TI
