Question Wahwah

Hi guys

i have this nice piano sound that i want to use in a reggea song. The only thing that is missing is a Wahwah Fx. I can't get a wahwah sound effect on it. I'm pretty sure one should be able to program this. If any of you could just give me hint on how to do this and i'll mack around for a while. (the way to learn things )If i can't find it, i'll get back to u guys.

Since i'm using this in a live performance, i would want to have a dedicated softknob to control the rate.

btw: i own a virus C

On a virus - use input follower modulating the filter cutoff, or modulate an LFO which in turn modulates cutoff.

whawha usually consists of two serial bandpass filteres (signal-bandpass 1 -> bandpass 2)

i would filter around looking for the sweet spot then assign both filters to an external midi volume control pedal, modwheel or simply a sine LFO.

great, i did some research on the web and some other people seem to address bandpass filtering as the most common thing. I'll try Khazuls answer later...

cheers!
