Default LCD Repair?

Okay let me start this by saying i don't have a Access Synth Yet but i posted a few days ago on looking for what keyboard is best and I have pretty much picked out that The Indigo 2 is the best for me, that being said I was on youtube talking to this guy who had an access indigo 2 and he mensioned he was selling it, he was selling it pretty cheaply because the LCD was broken on it, and my question is how would you go about repairing a hard specific physical repair as apposed to software. Its not like they make them anymore so once something goes out of production it is harder to fix. So im woundering if its worth it to buy it cheap with a broken LCD knowing i probably won't beable to fix it or if theres a website out there that sells aftermarket stuff.

Thankyou.

Hi there,

Ask these guys for advice on the LCD before you commit to buy, they are the hardware and repair branch to Access-Music: http://www.synthesizerservice.de/index.php?lang=en

They will likely also stock the relevant parts if needed, but check beforehand.

I happened to buy some pots (potentiometers) for my Indigo 1 from those guys and soldered them in myself.
