Sounddiver problems
Hey all,
when I got my Virus B and installed Sounddiver everything worked fine. After a while (and numerous MIDI-device changes etc.) Sounddiver fails to load. It manages to start the app, show the splash screen, and the it just dies. At least, the window closes but the SoundDiver Virus.exe is still resident. This happens in any hardware configuration, with all MIDI interfaces disconnected, or various interfaces connected, anything really. Several re-installs did not help. This is the bundled version of Sounddiver on XP, btw. Has anyone encountered this problem? Or does anyone have a list of registry-settings changed/used by Sounddiver, as I have the feeling it reads "old" config variables and crashes on them. Thanks in advance. -diskonext Anyone ever encountered this problem?
