i am fully agree with DS , a well known company cant do that wrong things
the market is very difficult and you cannot take that risks; i come from Europe (Spain) and here are no Direct Distributors of Access Music so, Pro-shops only buy "virus " when a customer pays with a pre-order ,that situation has happen from few time ago , so you cant find a unit in all Spain ProAudio shops,then people prefer Clavia nord leads or whatever,because they can test them ; EVEN THE pRO-STUDIOS are not using virus units ( no distributors no technical helps ....) eventually it reminds me waldorf ( i have got a Q unit) in this area is very important to make a good marketing ....(clavia is done it) but access is making big mistakes,because you cant wait months and months with no news,actually access is no more selling any virus C unit just clasic, even Bmw or Mercedes are playing with new models-old models in a good marketing studio,but you have big brands: korg, yamaha making good bussines ,Roland so so the New V-synth (version 2 ) is an upgraded from a dissaster product (version1) and his XT rack version is having problems....Korg has take a big risky bussines with new Oasys 8.000$
hardware producers need to make really new models with new techs,
this trends in markets open (again ) a big dispute :is hardware machines at the end of the road?
