Virus T.I Vst Help Plz......Cant get Eq's on all parts..

can anyone tell me how i can apply e.q to all different parts in virus control as i can with different parts of battery?
in battery or albino i can open sevral instances of my soft synth and have e.q on every part but when i try this with the virus all parts are e.q'd whats going on..i thought this virus control software was top notch?
all i wanna do is get on with making tracks but im hampered by all sorts of bugs..
so anyway when i draw in some e.q in cubase all parts are e.q'd also when i try to name my own presets and double click in virus control and start typing it wont work...whatever button i type gives a command in cubase instead like deleting a track.or something...any ideas welcome
