Default TI display problem

I wonder if anyone else has epxerienced this...

Had my brand-new TI since last Thursday. Has only been used inside, in a cool, dry, non-humid environment, never connected to a PC, never banged or knocked. Everything has been fine until today when the display started showing two rectangular blocks of pixels on the right hand side. AFAIK, there was no interference with anything on the audio side, though. Tried turning it off and on - no change. Tried a power-on reset and the blocks went away. Result! However, I am worried that this might be the start of a recurring problem, especially as it is so new. Hauling it back to the music shop is going to be a major PITA. Has anyone else experienced or heard of this problem?
