Hi,
i have got a serious problem with my Virus TI...
here's my setup:
ASUS P5BE-PLUS
Texas Instruments onboard FireFire connectors
Onboard USB2 connectors
RME Fireface 400 FW
Novation Nocturn USB
3GB RAM
Core2Duo 6400 2.13ghz
100+ GB SATA 7200
Windows XP Pro SP2
Cubase 4.1
1 MIDI Master keyboard connected to RME FireFace Midi1-in
Virus Ti Snow midi in+out connected to RME Fireface Midi2-in/out and stereo output connected to the RME Fireface line input 5+6.
TEST 1
When i first bought the Snow, i installed the VC27500 drivers.
Loaded the VC as vst instrument in Cubase4.1
Added one midi track (midi input master keyboard and midi output Virus TI Snow vsti)
VC settings: channel1, output USB1 L+R, RAM1+2 sound 2-6 OldSkul Bs.
Did a test with a midi file, playing a simple melody, quantized 1/32 Triplet.

You can hear that the note having problems @ 6-7 seconds. I does not play sync with the audio hihat.
same problem @ 13-14 seconds and 20-21 seconds.
I unstalled the 27500 drivers with the uninstall option in Windows XP (Add or remove programs / Virus TI driver / Uninstall driver)
and restarted my PC.
TEST 2
I installed the VC30115 drivers.
Loaded the same test project again with all the same settings.
VC315_2-6 OldSkul Bs_140bpm USB1-2.wav
Excetaly the same problems @ 6-7 seconds and 13-14 seconds.
TEST 3
I unstalled the 27500 drivers (and software suite) rebooted the PC and installed the VC30300 drivers and software suite.
Again, @ 6-7 seconds, 13-14 seconds and 20-21 seconds the same problem!
The strange thing is that you only can hear this problem when playing a melody quantized @ 1/32 Triplet.
I would like to read/hear some test results from other members here. I have uploaded all the files (midi file, cubase 4 project and audio files) here:

I also want to test this project without using the USB midi and USB audio, but somehow i can not get this to work with my RME Fireface400

maybe someone can help me with this too?
Thank you all.
