Hmm, odd, works ok here presently.

I haven't changed anything since about 2pm this afternoon regards the URL side of things.

Did you have problems connecting to this URL, too?:-

or was it just http://infekted.org ?

Just trying to narrow it down to see if it was the URL or the new webspace. Currently they're still separate as the domain and dns data haven't been resolved yet.

According to 1and1 (the new host) the Infekted.org domain is now pointing correctly.

Everything should be running hunky dorey now!

Just a couple things I've noticed:

When I log into the UAVF now it doesnt tell me how many new posts there are. Is this normal, or just a part of the change that has happened with updating the board? Also, it doesnt indicate which users have visited the board.

Not really significant stuff I know, so apologies if this sounds like Im nit-picking, I was just curious about these things

This is a result of upgrading to version 2.0.20 - I think they tried to minimalise the number of searches performed against the database when logging on...

I must admit I miss the number of posts since last visit! I will look at incorporating this back into the main view - Performance is not really an issue with the new server.

How quick is the site on the other side of the World?

As for the cookies - Will get this working but it may be a while as I won't be able to do any more work until Friday...

No issues with connecting to the site down-under, seems faster, but Im not sure. Im on cable here, so it is pretty quick in general

I can't let anything lie - have fixed the number of posts since last visit now.

Only this one is better - if you read a post it removes it off the number of unread posts.

So if you log in and there are 10 unread posts since last visit and you read 2 of them, when returning to the index page the number will have gone down to 8.

Also it doesn't count your posts.
