Having some custom graphics done shouldn't be a big deal if you find a good silk screening shop in your area....

DS, the Jupiter has to be one of the ugliest synth ever released! Painting a TI that way will not help re-sale my friend. Hehehe.

while youre there you should get a strobe function added to the illuminated logo for those big eighties build ups
maybe access could include some retro fonts for your ti display
and to top it all off surely theyll throw in a pair of access-branded 'topgun' style sunnies
youll be beating the women off you DS

I was rather hoping that the TI came with an inflatable TopGun leather Jacket.
The truth is...I dont really know how plausible it is to get the graphics changed. As for colours....I think its going to cost way too much.

rambling nonsense
Did you really get word from somebody at access to to custom paint, I just skimmed through the thread. Im assuming you were joking. Im sure they have no time or interest in custom painting, it would be cool if they offered that for an extran 100 or 2. When buying a piece of gear like that you should be able to customize at least the color scheme. Anyhoo, my point was that I read on some other message board about doing this to a Nord G2 er sumpin. Some one said all you need to do is find a company that paints stove tops or something like that maybe it wasnt stove tops, that sounds even harde to find in the phone book. But apparently there are many other companies that do this for other products. You just take the panel in minus synth, knobs, etc. and they strip it and repaint. You may also want to send an email to http://frontpanelexpress.com/ and see if they could just make you one. Sorry for the long post, my medicine hasn't kicked in yet.

The latest response from access on this customizing issue....is that they dont have the spare man power to do it.
Fair enough I suppose.....no big deal. It was just an idea...

That's a crying shame. It'd serve as a publicising tool for them, as I bet everyone would be wanting to see it. Maybe they feel if they allowed yours to be customised more people would want theirs doing too, which they might not wish to undertake.
