The machine is not bad but the software and operating config it ships with is not optimized for Professional Audio use. Last but not least when running Audio apps it is best to shut all background processes off that are not needed. This includes virus software and firewalls. I would disconnect from internet and shut off all programs runing in background.

Not only Dell, it's almost every "brand" pc have those problems...
The best solution is to install two operating systems, one optimized for music,
and the second one for internet, office, nuclear research and other games...
Those OS's must be seperated completely, installing one OS with two configs
it's not a solution, two independent systems is da' flex.
Peace.
