I just use a yamaha digital piano(P90) for my weighted keys. Little expensive, but you get the piano sounds plus a nice controller.
That's a damn good idea!
Yamaha's piano sounds real nice.

Pricey, but damn effective.

Does that model come with a pitch & mod wheel?

No, I just set my Oxy8 on top of it and use its mod and pitch wheels. If you want the mod and pitch wheel, and have about twice the money to spend get the S90. It has expansion slots so you can put the Yamaha expansion boards in it too.

Those Yamaha keyboards are nice. And let's not forget Roland FP-2 - Good keyboard and that Fantom X piano.

The Doepfer controller have been around for a long time. It's too expensive and unfortunately too Hammond.

I had QS7. Sounds are what you can expect from a synth of that age (althoug some improvements have been made on that .2 update, but still very much the same). The keyboard on QS7 was really bad. It snarled and crackled when you played it. All ways had to fear when it gets broken. If that QS8 series has the same quality keyboard, I'd leave it be.

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

Indeed it does but again a keyboard for handicaps. It's really bizarre: Everyone is wondering why there are not 76 key controllers and still no-one makes those things! There would be significant market for those keyboards.
