I'd say that the wavestation sounds really "90ies hits". Its fun to play around but i haven't really found any good sounds to use and i won't be programing any sounds to it yet.

MS20 sounds good aswell as the polysix, nothing like the original thou. I've just played around with it so far.

My favourite is the Wavestation for sure. Drench it in distortion and delay, and away you go!

The 20 can get some nice DnB style sounds I rekon, but nothing like the original, like you say 303. It would be much more fun being able to patch it with that controller 303. It can get really crazy.

The Polysix is the only one I didn't get much of a chance to play with. Also haven't seen a real one anywhere that I could put my hands on either.

So when are we gunna hear a new track from you 303? You are building up an arsenal now!

Aye, for sure. However I see the controller more of being an toy until i'd could afford a real one (which i probably wont).

It sure sounds good, but still not like the original but better than say Subtractor from Reason. But however with the legacy-cell it gets more fun. Combining an ms20 and the polysix is really fun it can make really wild sounds acctually and it sounds good.

I didn't acctually buy legacy to write music, more as an toy that i mentioned earlier. I was after an small midicontroller with as much knobs as possible. This one was the cheapest (strange enough) and i get that "analogue feel" with the interface. I'll see if i'll do some music later on thou. I can't say never

They are on sale in Sweden. Almost every music store only takes 1995:- SEK for it. Strange but i can't really complain

It's going alright acctually. I am almost done with my "first" sound - an string that evolves into a bassarpeggio. I bet DS would love that sound - it sounds 80ies, and it's probably going to used in a song that i am planing (well if i ever do that song)

Korg Legacy Digital Edition.

------------------------------------------
Dear KORG Legacy Collection user,

We hope you are enjoying your Korg Legacy Collection software suite.

We are pleased to announce that we will soon release the "KORG Legacy
Collection - DIGITAL EDITION"; a software package containing two
virtual Korg digital synthesis masterpieces ? the M1 and WAVESTATION ?
plus the MDE-X multi-effect plug-in. We will also offer a 'Preferred
Owner' price for this new package to you!
---------------------------------------------------------
KORG Legacy Collection - DIGITAL EDITION

CONTENTS:

- M1 software synthesizer
- WAVESTATION v1.5 software synthesizer
- MDE-X v1.2 multi-effect plug-in

MAIN FEATURES:

[M1]
The sound engine of the M1 ? the forerunner of all music
workstations and PCM synths ? is now available as an eight-part
multi-timbral virtual instrument, and has been brought up to date with
many new features. Topping that list includes a powerful resonant
filter and dual Insert effects.

In addition to the PCM and Program/Combination data of the
M1/M1EX, all of the data from the 19 optional PCM/Program cards
is included, along with new drum samples and entirely new Programs -
providing more than 2,700 preset sounds!

[WAVESTATION v1.5]
The world-acclaimed WAVESTATION software synthesizer, part of
the original KORG Legacy Collection, now advances to Version
1.5, adding all six of the highly-acclaimed optional cards (more than
250 Performances, 250 Patches, 250 PCM waveforms and 150
Wave Sequences).

[MDE-X v1.2]
With the arrival of Version 1.2, the MDE-X multi-effect plug-in is
now RTAS compatible.

All three elements of the KORG Legacy Collection ? DIGITAL
EDITION support RTAS, VST and Audio Units plug-in formats, and are
ready to work in today?s top audio environments.
------------------------------------------

And maybe a page for HC to translate for us non-japanese people.

but why on earth did they acctually remake the M1? I just don't get it.
