The TI 61 key version is significantly larger and has more presence and wow factor - resale value is likely to be higher as people just wont want to spend the same kinda money on a 37 key version.
Thats the only real difference. Both have identicial synth engines

Good point, That's why I ended up with the keyboard model. I was confused at first because the reviews gave the polar a slightly higher rating, but my gut wanted a few more octaves to span some colorful pads, etc...

and ads suggest polar has "something" special, without being specific. Is's a bluff, then.

Being from NJ (USA) where we tend to think everythting and everybody has a hustle/scam of some sort, I was feeling like maybe access had a huge inventory of polar modules and created some marketing campaign to try to sell them off......in my humble opinion unless you want the desktop, go for the keyboard.....even if you don't/can't play (I know plenty of programmer/producers who make great music and can't play) youll appreciate the extra octaves.....

....unless you have another master keyboard to control the Virus, but still want the occasional portability of a keyboard, then go Polar.

The TI K has a superior action to the Polar, definitely - not to say that the Polar's isn't any good, just that 61-note keyboard is fantastic.

Well said. Of the many keyboards I've used over the past 25 years, the TI K has the best feel for a synth.
FYI: Yamaha has the best Piano feeling keyboard. Gradient weighted, hammer action, etc...

The first thing that attracted me to the Virus was the feel of the 61 key keyboard. I fiddled with one in a shop one day - without switching it on - and knew this was the keyboard action I was looking for.
The second thing that attracted me to it was... (sorry, you're going to have to bear with me here) that bit of blank space above the keys. Dunno, maybe its a Zen thing, but I like empty space. You'll soon find a neat use for it.
Oh yeah, and the third thing was when I finally plugged some phones in...

I draw my inspiration from my emptyness
I agree that empty space is quite sexy.....
