Sorry Tommer, I shouldn't really pick on you mate. It's just without experience you probably shouldn't comment. Also backing up your statements with some MP3s or something is a must.
A midi to CV convertor doesn't help with anything except sequencing - won't help recording that's for sure.
Sampling is the best way to acheive things like velocity, key-follow LFOs and a pitching envelope effect (like I said before) with old mono analogues.
50% of the sounds I created there need a sampler for the above reasons. You saying you could achieve them without one shows that you don't really have the experience, and honestly, it pissed me off.
