What analogues are you running now days then Tommer?

I wouldn't worry about a midi/CV convertor if everything is working fine from the synth itself - it's not like they will help with playability.

im corrently runing no hw at all.
I went completly soft few weeks ago and improving the basics of the studio-better soundcard and some basic recording gear.

I am hoping in the near future to have some more GAS budget which will allow me to get one of my dream analog synths or a nice modular system
im a realy square guy when it comes to writing so i couldnt see myself working without midi,i look at it more from the recording aspect then playability.

Sorry Tommer, I shouldn't really pick on you mate. It's just without experience you probably shouldn't comment. Also backing up your statements with some MP3s or something is a must.

A midi to CV convertor doesn't help with anything except sequencing - won't help recording that's for sure.

Sampling is the best way to acheive things like velocity, key-follow LFOs and a pitching envelope effect (like I said before) with old mono analogues.

50% of the sounds I created there need a sampler for the above reasons. You saying you could achieve them without one shows that you don't really have the experience, and honestly, it pissed me off.

It's cool though as that was yesterday.
