Good evening from an extremely cold Helsinki with loads of ice and snow on top of that. Think I'm gonna buy studded tyres for my bike this winter. BILTEMA's selling them 18 ?uropes a shot.

Guess they're an absolute must for attempting to bike on ice, lol!

I've used bike for several winters without any sissy winter tires. You may fall once or twice a year, but changing the bloody tires is more painful and time consuming than that.

Tims, cars have to have them here in winter. Mandatory. Everyone has two sets of wheels.
Juho, really, at my age I can't fall off my bike so easily any more. It's Biltema for me tomorrow. Only takes an hour though to change 2 tyres, ya puff.

Fekk off!
Is that where you live Sebastian?
Always envisioned you on the 6th floor of a Stockholm high-rise.
No wonder you're agrophobic.

You guys are nuts.
It dipped into the low 60s (F) last night and I was freezing!
I don't what the hell I am going to do when I have to travel back up north for the holidays next month.

merlot: More pictures will be posted.. I am currently busy finishing my glas of wine.
matsa: I hate heights! I can't stand it (really) and usually get an panicattack if I am 2 meters above ground!.. So I am really satisfied with my current apartment 'down below'.. I do not live in the house you see on that picture, it's an house built around 1898 or something like that and the doctor used to live there and is the first thing you see if you look out from the livingroom.
It's called "Doktorsvillan", which translates to "Doctor's house"..
El loco Jones: I really don't like the cold either.. or well, I do like it.. but I rather just have 3 months cold instead of 8 months of cold weather as it seems to be like right now in Sweden.
