Actually, except for Hollowcells bass, all the other Bass samples are from Vintage Analogue mono synths, no layering at all...

I just took a listen to Solid77's track here (nice work by the way - specially like your filtering and structure of the high end precussion) and noticd this post from TGND.
TGND: Your post cracked me up! I don't know why I didn't notice it before. You and Threlly are in the same band, is that right? Anyone who says something like this hasn't had a nice analogue running next to their Virus. I bet you're looking for endorsments of something?

Maybe can you post a small clip so we can listen to the exact sound you might be interested in?

Whats a good synth for bass like this.. not really deep deep sub bass more punchy i guess.. Analogue or VA.
Is that MonoMachine any good? Looks awsome.. but hard to program?
Girl Next Door.. I and others I'm sure would spend money on a bank of quality bass on the TI that covered bassics/classics.

Someone posted some demos on KSS recently that included some bass demo done on the evolver that sounded quite punchy, energetic etc.
Just had a look for the post - couldnt find it.

Do any of the 'dance' crowd actually know how to program any more ?

The Virus can 'do' bass....all synths can do bass - its just that true analog monosynths do it alot more convincingly.....and since bass is one of those aspects which can sell a million records (well back in the 80's it did)....then I suggest you seriously look into getting a dedicated bass synth. By all means use a virus for bass....but I'd take THESE type of bass sounds over anything a virus could make....
All subjective opinion at the end of the day

very cool video, thanks........I did not know that the Human L were around prior to the early 80's as a trance fan/aspiring compsoser I'm getting pulled back to the NEW WAVE sounds of the 80's as a source of inspiration[/list]
