Default High quality usb cable fixes all problems with the TI !!!

I got one of these the other day and tried it with the TI.

http://www.russandrews.com/lookup/1/...cable-2800.htm

It has fixed all known problems I had with the TI. Everything is in sync perfectly, there are no crackles or pops anymore, not a single crash or blank screen. It even feels a lot more responsive and works pefectly at ultra low latency, all thanks to this usb cable....

check this!!!!

When a USB cable is used to link a device such as an external soundcard to your computer, it becomes a digital audio interconnect. Lossless or uncompressed music files can sound even better if you upgrade this critical link ? and Kimber?s USB cables should be the first choice.

Holy fuck, what a cable!!

Ditch the cable that comes with your TI and get one of these. You can then use the TI how it was supposed to be used.

for those of you that couldnt read my obvious sarcasm this is a joke

Seriously, I don't think this is too far-fetched at all. I've had several devices that worked bad with one cable, good with another. Dont know how the TI verifies the cable strength, but I imagine it does.

I just realized that Im NOT using the cable shipped with the TI, but another 2.0 cable I had laying around.

I tried a few, even gold plated, heavy guage, double shilded etc. Same results.

The thing is its not an audio signal going across the cable as such, its digital 0s and 1s. With a shit quality cable there is no degradation of the signal making the audio quality sound worse, it simply goes through or doesnt. This anal cable claims it can make songs acutally sound better which is utter horse shit with a digital transmission, as I said it either goes through or does not. Of course depending on the quality of the cable the digital transmission could fail or be interferred with, but it wont alter the 'quality' of the sound one little bit.

LOL - I wondered how long before that audiopile cable loonies would try the computer market

I would guess the comunicatations errors maybe more frequent on long crappy cables or cables with losoe fitting connectors than on short good cables with tight fitting connectors.

Each errors means more work for the OS - therefore more data sent and therefore higher chance of an audio glitch.

I do run high quality (but not expensive) USB cables for a couple of long (6m) connections - on of them them is to the TI.
