Nick if you do go down the Little Phatty route - this little beastie might come in handy for elctro noises...

I love my Andromeda, it has a great sound and very in depth features, some that even the TI doesnt have. A lot of people say it doesnt have the classic analog sound but I absolutely love the sound. Its raw, edgey, ballsy and sits very well in a mix. Not to mention it has unison/detune for big fuck off sounds, that coupled with 16 poly and your on the way to some monster audio.....pads and leads are just ahhh.

I sold my virus TI, nord lead 3, yamaha cs6r and some other stuff to afford the Andy a6 and CODE. I am so glad I did, they are just so much fun to program and I seem to come up with really original sounds in no time at all, I just never got on with programming the VA synths, just did not enjoy the sounds I was getting or the using the interface (TI has far to many sub menus, so boring.)

TBH, I doubt I will buy another VA ever again, softsynths are so close to the sound now hardware VAs just arnt worth the money. The Andy and CODE however will be with me forever

Speaking of the Code...Ten I am dying to hear some of the madness it produces in your hands... The audio examples on the SE website do not give a real world example.
