Default Virus TI inputs question

I just got my Ti today, so I am very noob right now.

I am running a mono Drumstation signal into the Virus inputs.
(in static mode)
When plugged into the left input, sound will come out only when input is switched to Left.
When plugged into the right input, sound will come out when input is switched to Left, L+R, or Right.

Is that normal? Shouldn't I only hear sond from the right when input Right is selected? Or am I missing something obvious? I want the Left input for mono Drumstation and Right input for mono guitar.

When plugged into the left and the output is selected as L+R you should hear the input signal.

Doesn't sound right to me. Are you altering the panning at all?

Correction:

When plugged into the Left input, sound comes out when input Left or L+R are selected, but not if Right input is selected.

When plugged into the Right input, sound comes out for Right, R+L, and Left.

This is panned to center.

Hmm havent heard of this before.

Best to let Access support know as no one from Access seems to post here anymore.

Do you get any major issues using just analog out and midi? (as opposed to using usb). If so, you *might* have a hardware issue. I just had my TI repaired due to dodgy capacitors and a rail in the power supply malfunctioning.

cheers

Well, I have tested it a little more.
I fed a different mono signal into Left and Right.

When Left is selected, the left input plays out of both outputs.
When Right is selected, the right input plays out of both outputs.
When L+R is selected, the Left plays out of left and the Right out of right.

This is how it should work, the only "weirdness" is when only one mono signal is plugged in, so I guess it might just be a mono-signal sensing thing.

If anyone wants to test this same thing and see if theirs acts the same way I'd appreciate it.
