I was getting crackles on v 1.09 through USB, and got a PCI USB card which solved crackles by about 98%. Now with OS v1.11 all seem 100% solved so far.

For sure a good quality cable will provide a better hand shake but what about the midi issues when using midi cables. I'm sure the problems go deeper than just an upgraded wire? All of the mentioned problems with TI are apparent with only ac and head phones. Very sad.
No product with such poor issues should be allowed to market. I love the board to death but hey lets say it as it really is. I'm envious of those who claim their unit is working error free. Somehow hard to believe or just a bunch of Virus users that choose to go down with the ship? Oh well....

im not surprised mine works almost perfectly considering it was a complete fluke i even got this TI. in fact the day i found this unit, i was ready to give up on waiting on my order for the TI and get the KC that was sitting in the store. then the guy tells me that there is one sitting as a display model in toronto. my guess is that one of the store guys took it home and rented it for a while (they do that at this store) then brought it back to the store. lucky for me because it was preloaded with 1.1.1 too
