We are not talking about that!
Hi, the original postee is talking about that. Your post is a different issue. If you'd like to start a new thread on separate synchronisation problems then you can do. However it may be in vain as you will find it's the same with all digital audio routing. Digital processing incurs delays, as it needs time to process (followed by outputting) the signal. Digital signals communicated over USB (from your TI to your computer) will be out of sync when monitoring with direct analogue ones (from your TI straight to monitors) because of this issue. If you were to mixing them together it would create comb-filtering due to the different time-delays. This illustrates the measurable differences between the different types of outputs. You have to use a slightly different mentality depending on which you use to minimise problems. MIDI delay compensation is one of them.

In H4nc0's context, Marc was merely suggesting one of the connections on one of the two analogue cables (Left or Right) might have been the wrong way around (phase-inverted), which would effectively cancel the middle part of the middle-and-side (M&S) signal, depending on how you monitored the output, giving similar symptoms to H4nc0's problem regards having no low end.

Back on topic:

H4nc0, how are you listening to your TI? What is your analogue signal chain?

Ti > soundcard > monitors?

What gear (soundcard, etc.) are you using?

Balanced or unbalanced inputs/outputs?

TS or TRS cables?

1/4" TRS-> 1/4" TRS balanced cables do that. When I use 1/4" TRS-> XLR balanced cables, it works fine. I am using Prism Orpheus FW interface. It's not the cables because I have tested using different cables and different sources.

Also, I was bouncing a sketch today with the Snow running all 3 USB streams and found that the timing is all wacky. Most notably arps drifting and being in sync again and etc. Any idea? Nuendo 4 here.

SOLVED by using shorter USB cable. Sorry about this one.
