Default Just got Virus TI Snow and two questions~!

Hello all,

I just got a Virus TI Snow today and really love the sound. However, I've encountered two problems. One is when using TI mode and Out 1 L&R (the physical audio output), the output signal is really low and lacks lowend completely. Switching to USB outputs sounds fine. Disabling TI and using the box as external synth (MIDI & auido) works fine as well. It's only when using analog outputs in TI mode. Is this a known bug or did I get a defective unit?

Also, I've tried to automate "Note Length" under ARP, but it doesn't seem to work at all. (By enabling W(rite) in Nuendo and dragging the knob) Is this also a known problem? How do I go about automating that parameter?

Thanks alot!

a) Out 1 L&R is the same signal like USB 1 L&R ... it seems a bit low here, too.

b) try MIDI CC #5 (on Page B) via controller lane for ARP note lenght ... value 64 should be +/- 0

Out1 L&R sounds like highpassed here. Lacks lowend completely. USB1 L&R sounds fine. So this isn't a bug? Are you on Windows?

Dont' worry h4nc0, i've got the same bug with my snow.
I think that will be resolved with the stable version of the Os 2.7

Ah ok. I've contacted Access and they said it wasn't known bug. Are you sure it's reported to Access?

you mean OS2.7 beta has an issues with the analog outs missing bass? i doubt that, at least it is not the case here and there.

We are not talking about that!

Just talking about missing delay/synchro with the analog out of the Snow.

I have friend who have contacted Access about this problem on his Polar and they said:

Quote:
Thank you for your mail. The analog and SPDIF outs of the TI are not delay compensated when using
the PlugIn, that's why they are "off". In other words you manually need to delay the midi tracks
triggering TI sounds routed to the analog or SPDIF out while the PlugIn is active. That's why they are
in sync when the PlugIn is not in use. This is a technical restriction which can't be worked around.

With best regards,

I hope that they shall correct all the same this rather annoying problem.
