Default Virus TI installation on vista 32 *instruction*

Hello friends...

i found out how to install the virus ti on vista. Its little bit work, but not hard.

best electrixx!

Prepare:
-delete usbaudio.sys (from vista installation)
1) Obtain the usbaudio.sys file from a Windows XP machine (in c:\windows\system32\drivers)
2) On the Vista machine, click Start, type cmd in the search box and press Ctrl, Shift & Enter so you get a "root" command shell window
3) Type cd \windows\system32\drivers and press Enter
4) Type takeown /f USBAUDIO.sys and press Enter
5) Type cacls USBAUDIO.sys /G "Your Username":f, press Enter, and Y when asked. (Note the quotes around username)
6) Type del USBAUDIO.sys, press enter
Type cd c:\windows\system32\DriverStore\FileRepository\wdm a_usb.inf_9ce240de, press Enter
9) Type takeown /f USBAUDIO.sys, press Enter
10) Type cacls USBAUDIO.sys /G "Your Username":f, press Enter, and Y when asked. (Note the quotes around username)
11) Type del USBAUDIO.sys, press Enter
-Download latest windows xp driver from access music site and start install.
Make sure the virus is not plugged.

-When Usb Audio Driver Installation Routine will PopUp, dont plug the Virus!!!! Instead open Windows Explorer and save these things on desktop or elsewhere:
1. „Programms/Access Music“ Folder
2. VstPlugins/virusti.dll

Installation mainpart:
-now quit the asio-usb driver routine... setup will roll back all.

-Now you put manually back these both saved things... „access music“ folder to programms and „virusti.dll“ to „vstplugins“.

-Goto „programms/access music/driver“ now

Most important part now (without doing that, setup will not work or will crash!!!!

-move vtimidi.sys and vtimidi.inf out from this folder on desktop for example (you need it later)

-right click on setup.exe (choose run in compatible mode >> windows XP SP2)

-right click on setup.exe (run as administrator)

now the virus driver and asio will be installed succesfully without crashes

-after successfull installation, go to device manager and install unknown midi-device manually with the safed vtimidi.sys and vtimidi.inf (you should know how this works)

Finish! And voila it works!

Note: Somebody has notice after a crash on installation routine, sometimes you get bluescreen, and you cant re-install usb-audio setup again, without crash again... for this:
-unplug virus and boot vista >> goto windows/system32/drivers and delete vtimidi.sys
-then you can install like i describe

have fun...
