Keep in mind lots of virus b, c owners are selling to upgrade to the TI. That's why there seems to be more around and hence the lower prices. At least that's what I'm doing. If I cant get enought cash for my b maybe I'll hang on to it.

I sold it for $3250 AUD. I'm unsure whether I'll get a TI, though. As nice as it is, there isn't all that much new. And, indeed, its an awful lot of money I could use elsewhere. Hurm hurm.

Just sold my Access Virus KB last week on ebay for $1,000.00. Just waiting for my TI to come in now. So it is a month without a Virus.

an update. virus b desktop just went on ebay this morning for ?335 + ?20 delivery only 2 bids. both in the last 7 minutes of the auction. the starting bid was ?325 and the first bidder didnt bid more than ?335 hence no automatic bid ups, leaving arnaud.duvinage as the winner.

check it out here:

2 weeks ago i thought i snapped up a bargain on a similar virus b for ?390 + ?15 delivery. i guess i should have waited a bit. imagine what prices these will fetch after the TI is actually on sale. it just doesnt seem right.

incidentally. what is with the variation in shipping costs on ebay? do they fill the box with lead to get the weight up or something? ive seen some specify as much as ?30 to ship a virus desktop within the UK. it doesnt cost ?30 to ship something this heavy. maybe if it weighed 5 kg more!?

You did get a bargain - that's a damn good synth you've got there, for not much money.

I think the prices will get more sensible once the initial rush is over. Same thing happened when the C was announced.

thats true, but im miserly enough to keep checking up on ebay between song renders to see if people are getting better deals than me. and sure enough, they do

and yea, i hope they get more sensible. cuz i keep seeing virus indigos on ebay getting cheaper and even though i already have a virus, its giving me ideas! arrrrgh!
