Default Etheral DX7 Pad Demo

Now available in the new download section of this website! You'll find it under the synth demo mp3 section.

A bit Brian Eno-esque me thinks....

Good stuff DS.

I wonder if HC has imported it into his V-Synth and made those lovely pads sound like the gutteral growling of one of hell's demons?

Actually I've thought about sampling a DX ater hearing DS's demo.

Any chance of a few dry wave files DS? Middle C, no chords and about 5 or 6 second each?

HC....I could try....ive never really thought of this until now. Since I have access to a Korg MP, Pro-One, Prophet 5 and DX7....I should really throw some samples your way.

I could try and sample bass, leads, effects, pianos, drones and pads. It would be interesting. Whats the best way.....sample each note within a 3 octave range? Im sure you guys could mangle these sounds....

For me the best way is to just sample a single middle-C note sustained for about 5 seconds if you are doing pads, drones or FX.

For bass it can be shorter, but that depends on the bass. Bass samples for me would be nicer one octave bellow middle C (or where ever the bass works best on your keyboard).

That would be really cool DS. Of course if you ever buy a V-Synth you are welcome to the patches I make with your samples.

So just let me get this straight. All you need is for me to sample at C (in the bass register). Just one note and you can do the rest? You dont want me to sample 1 octave in its entirity?
