Default Coding a URL path

HOw come this code doesn't work on this site ?

Code:
 TEST
I'm pretty certain the code is right.

I just want the name "TEST" to appear instead of showing everyone an entire path. Its much cleaner.

Am I doing something wrong?

If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks so much

HTML is disabled on the board. Use the BBCode tags. You can see the tag-buttons above the message body box.

The link tag is This is my link

Often the "http" part of the URL is quite important. So it'd be:

Infekted

Or, sometimes some sites/links work without the "www":-

Infekted

In these cases you have to test it before you use it.
